Boat Trips in Sunderbans
The Sundarbans, where the Ganges and Brahmaputra rivers outflow through a vast delta into the Bay of Bengal, consists of 10,000 square kilometers of mangrove, part in West Bengal and part in Bangladesh, and declared as National Parks and World Heritage Sites in each country. This is the largest mangrove forest on the planet. The excitement of any Sundarban exploration is the sighting of an often-swimming great Bengal tiger.
You may watch many animals, including crocodiles, tigers, monkeys, and many varieties of birds while we cruise through the water. We stop at a few places on the way to go to Sunderbans Tiger Reserves and some local events.
If you would like, you can also spend the nights in deluxe hotels on the islands instead of sleeping in the boat. You have a wide variety of choices to choose from depending on your budget.
